Join us Tuesday July 8th at 5:30pm for the next CHAT (Community Health and Advocacy Talks) where we will watch and discuss “American Heart” – a film directed by Minneapolis filmmaker Chris Newberry. “American Heart” is an intimate journey into the lives of three refugees who now call MN home. As each individual confronts life-threatening health emergencies, at the center of it all is the Health Partners Center for International Health, in the Hamline-Midway neighborhood of St. Paul.
CHAT presentations are open to the public and held in the evenings on the second Tuesday of every month at UROC (Urban Research and Outreach Center) 2001 North Plymouth Avenue Minneapolis, MN 55411.
Each CHAT session consists of:
- 5.30 – 6 pm – light dinner/snacks, meet & greet
- 6 – 7 pm – presentation
- 7 – 7.30 pm – networking
RSVP recommended (but not required) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
