Join us Tuesday, June 9, for the next CHAT (Community Health and Advocacy Talks) during which we will watch the PBS/Frontline documentary “Sick Around The World” and discuss current efforts towards universal healthcare coverage in the U.S.
CHAT is a monthly series of talks on matters important in health and healthcare delivery, presented by the University of Minnesota North Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program. CHATs are open to the public and held in the evenings on the second Tuesday of every month at the UROC (Urban Research and Outreach Center) – 2001 Plymouth Avenue North, Minneapolis, 55411. If you’re concerned about public health and the social determinants of health – please join us!
Each CHAT session consists of:
- 5:30 – 6 pm – light dinner/snacks, meet & greet
- 6 – 7 pm – presentation
- 7-7:30 pm – networking
