Join us Tuesday, September 8th for the next CHAT (Community Health and Advocacy Talks): “Beyond Medical Transition: Social and Cultural Concerns in Transgender Health” with guest presenter Katie Spencer, PhD, from the Program in Human Sexuality at the University of Minnesota.

CHAT is a monthly series of talks on matters important in health and healthcare delivery, presented by the University of Minnesota North Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program. CHATs are open to the public and held in the evenings on the second Tuesday of every month at the UROC (Urban Research and Outreach Center) – 2001 North Plymouth Avenue Minneapolis, MN 55411. If you’re concerned about public health and the social determinants of health – please join us!

Each CHAT session consists of:

  • 5:30 – 6 pm – light dinner/snacks, meet & greet
  • 6 – 7 pm – presentation
  • 7-7:30 pm – networking
