Next CHAT April 12th: Avoiding Unintended Biases In Healthcare

Join us Tuesday, April 12th, at 5:30pm in North Minneapolis at the Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center (UROC) for another in our monthly series Community Health and AdvocacyTalks (CHAT)! This month Michelle Van Ryn, PhD, Professor of Health Services Research in the Mayo Health System, will be presenting on “Avoiding Unintended Biases: Strategies for Providing More Equitable Care.”

CHAT is a monthly series of talks on matters important in health and healthcare delivery, presented by the University of Minnesota North Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program. CHATs are open to the public and held in the evenings on the second Tuesday of every month at the UROC (Urban Research and Outreach Center) – 2001 North Plymouth Avenue Minneapolis, MN 55411.

If you’re concerned about public health and the social determinants of health – please join us!

Each CHAT session consists of:

  • 5:30 – 6 pm – light dinner/snacks, meet & greet
  • 6 – 7 pm – presentation & discussion
  • 7-7:30 pm – networking
